Master Handgun 2021

I shot the Master Optic Sight 2021 match (French Handgun Championship under another name) on October 1st at the CNTS in Châteauroux. It was the first real match since the beginning of the pandemic that we could shoot in France. 2 days to shoot 24 stages, Christophe and his team had prepared a very nice match with courses that were a little different from usual. The weather was nice at the CNTS, a little cool in the morning but no rain.

I was shooting Production Optic with my CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready and Shield RMS 2 red dot. As usual I had no problems with my gun, the red dot or my ammo (129 of factor at chrono). The beginning of the match was a bit slow and laborious but after 3 stages it was good…. except one stage where I forgot some targets…It was a long time ago! Obviously it made the squad laugh a lot! 

I thank the CNTS and our Regional Director who accepted that I make some images of the CNTS (Centre National de Tir Sportif) with my drone, the pictures are beautiful and it gives a good view of the quality of the site for our discipline. 

So in the end I finished 1st in Super Senior and 19th in overall at 73.67% of Michal Stepan of the CZ team

Good performance for a restart, I am happy.

AST Roissy was once again brilliant with many individual and team podiums. The PIM PIM were once again in the game!
