Rifle French National 2019
2019-06-02CZ for Production Optics Division
2020-01-03French National Handgun 2019
I spent this week under the sun of Châteauroux, with to start the TSV Handgun Instructor course led by our seven times world champion and our Regional Director. 4 intense days of courses and UV…Back to School 🙂 With still a good part of the group that was at the RO course in May, great group, great atmosphere.
The validation of the instructor course also included the shooting of the French National Handgun Championship with the objective of not getting disqualified. So the instruction was given to lift the foot to not make any mistake or security mistake. Except that I was also coming to make a podium…. Not easy to reconcile the two, I did not make any safety mistake, I tried to be tonic and to run a little bit 🙂 The competitive spirit was in the forefront and I had a challenge with my friend Cédric (I beat him at the Infinity, he beat me at the Extreme Euro…we had to split…He won by a handful of points!) and also a lot to learn from Patrice. Moreover it was the first time I was shooting in the same squad as my club president…Wow the pressure! 🙂
It went well overall, I had quite a few bullets hit and not fired the first day, and even after installing the extended firing pin the second day I had to face the facts… I had not inserted the primers of my match ammunition properly (I will have to go through Pascal Brultey’s courses on reloading techniques… :-)). So I spent an evening going through all the match ammunition I had brought with me to the hand primer. Result…No incident the two following days ! Well done we won’t comment!!!
I dropped too many points, 67C and 10D on the 400 or so shots in the match. I made 2 Misses on the same bobber without announcing them, I was so sure of myself that I didn’t even shoot three shots on the bobber as I told myself during the recon….
The CZ Shadow 2 didn’t betray me once again, same thing for my Shield Mini Sight red dot, the Production Optics Division is starting to attract more and more people (including shooters coming from the Open…That hurts), so we have to train and not let anything go.
The surprise of the Championship is that our friend Eric shot it in Production Optics. There, we all take a big slap and the % melt like snow in the sun. That makes us when a reference compared to this world champion who wins whatever the Division in which he shoots.
I finished 6th in Overall at 63.85% and 1st Senior… A title of French Champion in addition to the key! 🙂
Our Club of AST Roissy made a lot of podiums ! macos/deepLFree.translatedWithDeepL.text
