Handgun & PCC Trophy Vertus 2020
Between 2 confinements I was able to go and shoot the Match Handgun and PCC Trophy Vertus 2020, 6 stages always very challenging at Vertus, a match that had only the name of Level II.
For once it almost didn’t rain 🙂 I managed to shoot the 6 stages without getting too wet… A feat!
The lack of training is still felt, but what a pleasure to meet friends again and to be able to shoot a match, even if it is only 6 stages.
I had no problems with my CZ Shadow 2 Prod Optic Ready and my Shield RMS red dot in 4 MOA, the bullshit is my own fault! Like on a stage I have to reload before opening a door during a 2-3 meters trip and well once I’m ready to insert the magazine, I release it to open the door !!! And then I look at him at my feet wondering WHY I just did that …. LoL :-). Or on a bobber that is shot through a low window I forget all the technique and I follow it by firing …left, right…left right…!!! And at a moment I say to myself “But what are you doing” and I stop. Impossible to know how many shots I shot, total loss of brain :-). You can count them on the video, I don’t write it down…I’m ashamed :-).
I finished 2nd in Overall Optic Production at 81%, not brilliant! But it was THE match of the year after all the cancellations of the Extreme Euro, L’Infinity or the French championships 🙁
AST Roissy finished with many Podiums, especially in Production where we took the 3 places on the podium and 5 shooters on the first 7 places! In spite of the lack of infrastructure and the confinement, we are doing well… PIM PIM PIM!
