2022-01-29Eemann Tech Brass Competition Disconnector for CZ Shadow 2
New year starting...New test of Eemann Tech parts for my CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready. I had received from IPSCSTORE before the departure for the worldshoot in Pattaya a new disconnector for my CZ. I waited to be back to install it and start testing.
What differentiates it from the classic disconnector is only its material, it is made of brass and it seems that brass has a lower friction rate and slides more easily than carbon steel. So theoretically a more regular friction with the trigger and a cleaner start, without having to go through a step of polishing the parts (I never polished a single internal part of my Shadow). I had already installed short disconnects on my 2 Shadow 2 to have less stroke and a shorter reset (beware of the AD :-)).
This disconnector comes with a pin which is much easier to put in place than the original, where I had to hit the pin very hard with a hammer to get it out. Once the old disconnector is removed, it only takes 30 seconds to put the new one on with its pin and it's done.
I have only shot about 20 rounds with it, so the feedback is not yet very representative but it is true that the dropout is clear. I'll see after several practices if I see a difference, I left the old disconnector on my other CZ Shadow 2, I'll switch from one to another to try to feel the differences.
